Training Objective

This training is mandatory for anyone required to carry out small-scale or large-scale electrical installations (new installations or renovation projects), as well as maintenance and troubleshooting activities involving fault finding. It is also intended for anyone who performs measurements, tests, or regulatory inspections.

The course enables electricians working on low-voltage systems to operate safely in accordance with the recommendations of the NF C 18-510 standard issued by the French Union Technique de l'Électricité (UTE).

This training can also be adapted to cover electrical work on photovoltaic installations.

Target Audience

Electrical personnel (or non-electrical personnel) required to carry out work, troubleshooting, lockout/tagout procedures, or specific operations on low-voltage electrical installations and equipment.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify electrical hazards on or in the vicinity of an installation.
  • Safely move and operate within an electrical environment.
  • Adopt appropriate behavior according to the situation and associated risks.
  • Report the completed operation to the employer or the electrical operations supervisor.
  • Identify, inspect, and properly use collective and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Prepare and supervise electrical work activities.
  • Complete and manage documentation related to electrical operations.
  • Conduct a preliminary risk assessment before carrying out an operation (lockout/tagout or intervention).
  • Perform a single-step electrical isolation (lockout/tagout) procedure.
  • Carry out general low-voltage electrical interventions.
