Assessment

The training evaluation is carried out through a multiple-choice questionnaire and summatively during the practical teaching in progress of the training.

Final Award

At the end of the training, each learner receives their Individual Training Certificate.
Upon successful completion of the theoretical and practical assessments, a Certificate of Authorization is issued.

Training Objective

Understand the fundamental principles of preventing risks associated with physical activity in the workplace.
Improve working conditions by ergonomically adapting and organizing the workstation.
Reduce physical risks, including musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and workplace accidents, caused by repetitive movements or poor ergonomics.

Target Audience

Anyone involved in manual handling activities.

Learning Objectives

  • Raise awareness of regulations relating to manual handling, safe lifting techniques, and workplace ergonomics.
  • Understand occupational risk prevention, including the nine general principles of prevention (Article L4121-2 of the French Labour Code).
  • Recognize the impact of workplace accidents on a company.
  • Interpret workplace accident and occupational disease statistics in France.
  • Learn techniques to prevent risks associated with poor posture and incorrect manual handling practices.
  • Understand how the human body functions through basic anatomy and physiology concepts.
  • Identify common musculoskeletal disorders and conditions affecting the back, upper limbs, and joints.
  • Learn ergonomic movement techniques and best practices.
  • Safely lift and carry heavy or bulky loads.
  • Apply principles of energy conservation and physical safety.
  • Understand how to protect oneself and use appropriate safety equipment.
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform warm-up and stretching exercises before physical activities.
  • Implement ergonomic solutions to help prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
  • Analyze working postures and assess workstation ergonomics.
  • Propose ergonomic improvements and practical recommendations for workplace design and organization.
